Beautiful Baubles Shadow Card
I got the inspiration for this card from watching Barbara Gray, from Clarity Stamps and I hope I have done her technique proud. I have used the brights for the colour palette as something a little different from the traditional Christmas colours, but you can use whatever colours you like.

Beautiful Baubles Part Two
At the weekend I held my Create a Little More class with the Beautiful Baubles.
Each month I showcase a bundle or suite of products via my classes. I hold two Simply Fun Classes, which showcases quick and simple cards with the emphasis on having a fun time. The Create a Little More looks at a few different techniques and is generally a longer class. The Simply Fun class is £15 or you can buy the suggested products to a similar price and the Create a Little More requires product purchases to participate.
These are the projects we created using the Beautiful baubles bundle.
I love easel cards, particularly when we get dies big enough to create the card blank. It is a very simply technique where you hang the edge of the die of the edge of the cardstock or die machine plate to ensure it doesn't cut the central crease in a card blank.
This Friday (28.09.18) is the cut off for signing up to the very popular Brusho Course, there are only three spaces available so if you are interested, then email me at fispapercraft@hotmail.co.uk.
The 5th October will be the cut off for signing up to next months classes, which will be based around the Rooted in Nature suite. The Create a Little More class will be a 12x12 sampler - I am excited to offer this class for the first time.

There are so many ways to use the shimmer paint. I used the Frosted White Shimmer paint and mixed it with ink to paint the baubles in. Glimmer paper also helps to set the cards off.
Well, the trees are still a little drunk, but mainly manages to get this image straight. To see the process,m watch out for my video this week (released on You Tube on Wednesday, and blogged here on Thursdays)

Beautiful Baubles Tree Decoration
This weeks video uses the Beautiful Baubles die set only to make this tree decoration or it could be modified to make a tag.

September's Simply Fun Class
The class on Friday went really well and everyone loved the projects we made. We used the Beautiful Baubles set and lots of heat embossing!
I think this set has lots of potential for a variety of different of styles of cards. For the first card I paired it with the Dashing Along Hostess DSP. I normally avoid too many patterns, however its Christmas so all rules go out the window!
I love using the Wood Textures DSP, it is a great all round design and perfect for mens cards. We used heat embossing on this card and the new Shimmer Paints (Champagne) to add some gorgeous shimmery highlights.
The last card was all out bling, black and gold is a classy combination that is perfect for Christmas. The important part is to use your embossing buddy to make sure you have the minimum amount of loose powder on your card and get a clean embossed image.
