Share what you Love

I'm so excited, May is always a month of transition in the Stampin' Up world, quickly using old favourites that will be retired and eagerly anticipating the launch of brand new goodies in June. However, for the second year, Stampin' Up have a released a one of the suites early in specially planned bundles.

In each bundle you get a few free things and in the largest bundle you get free the 'Statement of our Heart' stamp. This will only be available in this bundle and will not be available after the end of May.

I have planned a few classes using this suite and if you buy one of the bundles you get free access to all of the classes for the month, just place your order by Friday 4th May.

Here are a few samples of what we will be making at the workshops. I look forward to seeing you.

Pop of Paradise

After this spell of beautiful weather, I felt it was time to use the Pop of Paradise stamp set again., This set retires at the end of May, so if you like it, buy it before it goes!

I used it in the card below with the retiring in-colours, I love creating ombre effects with inks, and with the Stampin' Up water based inks, its incredibly easy. Just use a piece of sponge and apply on the card in circles to get a smooth blend.

This was a project I completed when the stamp set first came out (please excuse the retired DSP and doilies). Black and Melon Mambo are a great combination. I used a layer of black on the card above it really helps to make the colour pop.

To finish off this blog post, I thought I would show something that WAS continuing in the new catalogue, Lift me Up stamp set and dies, pool party and the large number dies! Still love that balloon.

Make sure you catch the Retirement list and the updated Clearance Rack before all the goodies disappear.

Magical Day Team Swaps

These are the decorated silver gable boxes I presented to the team at Onstage (April 7th). We had a great time and they really appreciated the box and gift. I have showcased the projects I received last week on my Facebook Page, please click to view them as they were very special.

In the box I placed a string of little copper lights and a few bars of chocolate.

I thought you would like to see a picture of the Senior Management Team at Stampin' Up headquarters. One or more of the SMT visit each Onstage Local and it is always lovely to met them.

Onstage April 2018 - Presenter and Display Board Showcase

On the 7th April Onstage Local was held at Telford. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to produce samples for the display boards. I received my boxes of goodies in late February, so had about a month to produce samples covering 3 stamp sets, with a few extra embellishments and DSP. All the products will be available to customers from the 1st June 2018. However, if you want to get them sooner then join my team and you can join the pre-order from May 2nd 2018. Believe me, you will want to get your hands on the new catalogue and goodies sooner rather than later!

In this blog post, I am showing a few samples from the Lilypad Lake stamp set. This was the one I was challenged most on, however once I looked at the stamps individually I saw a few different ideas cross my mind, with the help of the Stamparatus (available from June!).

This stamp set shows the gorgeous heron, its a lovely size stamp and it makes the whole set feel very peaceful and calm.

These two cards use elements of the stamps for the background. I love colours of the circles in the first one, makes the card fresh and cheery. The stripes in the second one are done on the stamparatus and go through the hues of purples Stampin' Up currently supply.

Time to say goodbye to somethings......but not everything!

I have two projects for you today, the first was a birthday card made for a friend of my youngest. This uses the Myths and Magic bundle, which will be retired at the end of May. I am very sad to say farewell to the unicorns and mermaids, as a mum to three young girls this has been brilliant for all their parties and invites. If you have young children I urge you to buy this set before it goes.

I have also used the Mini Treat Bag die, this was one of the first Stampin' Up dies I bought when I started as a demo nearly three years ago. This was a really useful die, but it will also be retiring at the end of May. I have used it several times with card to make a kind of treat bag card - simple but effective.

My second project is a raffle prize I am donating (along with a voucher for free class) which uses the Eastern Palace suite. The Speciality Designer Series Paper and the Gold Vinyl stickers will be disappearing forever at the end of May, however the stamps and dies will be continuing into the new catalogue. However, they will not be a bundle and therefore you will not get the 10% discount as you do until the end of May. If you want them, now is the time to get them.

I also used the acetate card boxes, a very useful box that will be continuing as well.
