Cheerful Papers

We are coming to the end of Sale-A-Bration now, there are about two weeks left and I wanted to remind you of the Bubbles and Fizz DSP in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.  This is a bright and cheery DSP that matches the Bubble Over bundle in the Occasions Catalogue.  We know the stamp set and dies will continue in the 2018-19 Annual Catalogue, however it it doubtful they will continue as a bundle and it is more than likely the DSP will not be in the new catalogue.

Therefore, if you love this set then you need to buy it now!  You can get the Bubble Over bundle for £36 (which includes the 10% bundle discount) just add a few gems and adhesives in to your basket and you can get the papers too.

The best bit is that the dies will cut out elements from the papers, in this sample I have die cut the bottle tops and one of the bottles from the papers and placed them between window sheets on the card, as well as di cutting one of the large bottles from the papers.

My last example shows off the DSP, it is so cheerful and bubbly that you don't need much to make a lovely card.  I heat embossed onto vellum and die cut a frame from the Layering Circles dies to create the topper.

As there are only a few weeks left, I thought I would invite you all to a Facebook Party!  Join here for games, prizes and live demo's (well one, two if I feel brave), all to celebrate everything Sale-A-Bration.  The first customer to order either via email for FREE local delivery/collection or via my online store will receive all the Stampin' Rewards.  This means that if the combined party sales reach £150 you are guaranteed £15 of free Stampin Up goodies.

If you order via my online store between 8pm on Sunday 18th March until 10pm on Sunday 25th March please use the Hostess code of  F27V624G to add to the party order.  If you are ordering £150 or more, don't use the code as you can earn the rewards for yourself!

Same card - Two colours

I love this idea, repeating the same card design with different colour combinations.  It is amazing how colour changes the feel and purpose of a card, it is also a great way to experiment with colour and get some inspiration if you are feeling a bit stuck.

With the video yesterday I used the bubble over stamp set and a 'D' stamp block to create a card that was a direct copy of the card we did during January's class, but just changed the colour combination.

Post in the comments below what colour combination you like best

Beautiful Day and Brusho

The Beautiful Day stamp set was designed for colouring, it has open spaces to allow you to colour in whatever way suits your style.  This video shows you a way to do the Stained Glass technique with Brusho.

Stained Glass technique is about colouring on vellum on the reverse of the image, this way you don't have to be totally neat and in the lines and gives a lovely diffused look on your project.

I had great fun doing this and I hope you like, please let me know what you thought.  Remember you can buy any of the goodies featured and have a play yourself, just click on the links before.

I also wanted to show you the effect of using the Stampin' Markers (first picture in Berry Burst) and with Stampin' Blends (calypso Coral).  Which do you prefer?

Silver Gable Boxes

Yesterday I posted a video on the Silver Gable boxes, along side the Bubble Over Bundle and Bubbles and Fizz DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

I have decorated several of these boxes, and the one featured in the video will be one of the projects featured in the next class on the 19th and 23rd January.

They are very simple to make, wrap a piece of 12 x12 cardstock cut to 12x1 3/4" around the box before you make the box up.  There will be a slight gap, which you can either cover with ribbon wrapped around the box, or use a decorative die cut to cover it.  I then die cut a bottle from the Bubbles and Fizz paper as a tag and finished off with Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper WHite Bakers Twine.

Here are few other samples that I have decorated.  The Mothers' Day box will be part of a children's workshop I will be holding early March.

I hope you like these ideas, if you wish to purchase them, please click the links below.
