Showing Off DSP

I hope you had a great Valentine's Day yesterday, we did and its half term so a bit manic as well.

Here is a recap on the video that went live yesterday, all about showing off your DSP.  Patterned paper can be a bit daunting to use - too busy, not sure about the patterns, too gorgeous and don't want to cut into it (who else has two packs of everything!).  Well, it was designed to be used - so you must use it and it is quite extraordinary how many cards you can make from one pack of 12x12 DSP - it lasts forever.

In the video yesterday I used the True Gentleman DSP and coordinating cardstock pack.  This is a huge tip for you - buy the coordinating cardstock pack where-ever possible, it really adds to your project and makes co-ordination soooo easy.  I used Tranquil Tide, but Night of Navy cardstock would have worked just as well.

With this card it was all about the layers and using the cardstock pack moves the layers apart so that it doesn't become one patterny mess! I think I used 7 of the possible 12 patterns on the cards.
