We have all this 12x12 DSP, but what do we do with the scraps. Some of it gets given to my daughters school - they use the small bits to help with fine motor skills with the younger children. But a lot of it I store it bags crying out to be useds usefully. In my head all cardstock and DSP want to be used, they get a little sad if they are left in the cellophane packet, even if now and then they are pulled out to be sniffed and stroked.
Here is a style of card that helps you use up the scraps of DSP. You could use a square punch or dies, or in fact use decorative shapes as along as they are symmetrical so that they line up neatly on the card. I have made the tiles from one pack of DSP as I know they will co-ordinate with each other, no thought needed! However you could experiment with different DSP packs and cardstocks and see what effect you come up with.
