The post explains that a lot of Christmas wrapping paper is not recyclable because of the foil, glitter or the reams of sellotape used to secure the wrapping (in my case to stop present wrangling!). You can test if your wrapping paper can be recycled by the scrunching up the paper, if it stays scrunched ina ball it can be recycled, if it unfolds then it can't.
Recycling wrapping paper is one consideration , the price is another. For the price of one roll of wrapping paper you can buy almost twice as much brown paper - which is much more environmentally friendly.
But brown paper is boring....well it depends what you do with it. Simply adding a nice ribbon and tag can make a difference, stamping on it or using a decorative paper can jazz up even the most boring paper.
Here I have wrapped a piece of decorative paper around it, added some gorgeous two-toned ribbon and made a simple tag. Voila! Christmas ready.
I will be showcasing ideas on wrapping for Christmas throughout the lead up to Christmas, so keep an eye out on my social media, facebook and blog.
Remember he Snowflake Showcase suite of products are here and only around until the end of November, which set will you pick?
