These two samples concentrate on the heron in the set, and you can see by using just the stamped image or just the die-cut image you can create two very different styles.
The first was created using copier paper as a mask so that the brayed area had clean, sharp edges. I used Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick to create the sunset gradient. Then very simply die cut the images out of black card. I love this style of card, and the sentiments from the set match the feel perfectly.
With this card I used the Delightfully Detailed note cards and the Delightfully Detailed laser cut DSP. This DSP is something special, there are 8 12 x 12 sheets of two designs. One is a full page design, the other is a selection of borders and panels - that fit the note cards perfectly. There is so much scope for this paper, you can colour it, use it as a mask, cut elements out or leave it as it is - such as I have in these samples. Quick and simple!
