Craft Collabs - CASE the Creator Video Challenge

This has been a busy week for videos!

Here is a Craft Collab challenge video for you.  With this challenge, we were paired with another member and asked to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) about a recent project of theirs.  I was paired with a wonderfully talented creator called Priya Satish, who specialises in a lot of mixed media projects and cards.

I chose to get inspiration from her colours and use of butterflies to create a thank you card.  You can find links to her blog, Youtube and Insta below.

Magnolia Lane ATC+

This blog shows how I used the Magnolia Lane Memories and More cards to create these 4x3 ATC cards that I used to showcase Stampin' Up! products from a local networking group last week. 

Memories and More cards are really useful for quick and easy cards and decorations, as well as for your memories.

Daisy Lane Class

We had fun last week as I held the Daisy Lane class.  We created several fun projects using the Daisy Lane Bundle, as well as the Daisy Punch.

The Dasiy Punch was released last year and was very popular, so I am pleased to say Stampin' Up! created a companion punch - the Medium Daisy Punch, which is bundled with the Daisy Lane stamp set.

For the first project, we decorated these colourful metal flower pots,  This was such an easy project to complete, stamp and punch two each of the Daisy Punch and one of the Medium Daisy punch on each of the 10 colours in the Bright colour family (or whichever colour family rocks your boat).  I stamped in the same colour as the cardstock, but you could use versamark ink as well.

Adhere the flowers together, curl the petals slightly and add a gem.  Just hot glue them to wooden skewers and voila!

Have you seen the 2019-21 In-Colours yet?  Well, this project uses Terracotta Tile - cardstock, ink, ribbon, faceted dots and DSP - you know Stampin' Up! likes to coordinate

A straightforward job of adhering together to create this simple, but fabulous card.

We didn't manage to finish the last project, but this uses the simple technique of using the Stampin' Markers to colour on the stamp to create a rainbow image.

I do like a party

We really set the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue off right last weekend with a fabulous Open House.  We looked at the new In-Colours (which really complement the regular colour offering), looked at some new DSP (oh, they smell lovely!) and played with new stamps and dies.

We used the Come Sail Away suite, which is a stunning nautical themed collection of stamps, dies, papers and much much more.

We made a very simple card using the papers and dies, everyone enjoyed making it.  I have really taken on board the off-centre school of thought on aligning papers, takes the stress out of trying to get everything perfectly lined up and straight!

What I really love about this set is its universal nature to the papers and stamps, it is obviously great for masculine cards, and with the memories and more card pack, great for scrapbooking those holiday memories.  I have enjoyed playing with this set, and hope to have more to show you soon.
