This week Stampin' Up! launched their brand new Jan-June Mini Catalogue with some amazing new stamps, dies and suites. To get an overview of the catalogue please view my YouTube video:
I hope you are all well and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow afternoon for the next Craft-A-Long. This week we are using the Snowflake Wishes Bundle (one of my favourites from the Aug-Dec Catalogue). We are also using Misty Moonlight cardstock, which is one of my favourites from the 2020-22 in-colours. To join the call click here.
Misty Moonlight Card
Cut an A6 card blank from Misty Moonlight cardstock.
Cut the largest Stitched rectangle die from Misty Moonlight and die cut the large inlay snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes dies in the centre of the die-cut.
Stamp the greeting in Misty Moonlight ink on Balmy Blue cardstock and die cut from a suitable rectangle.
Tie the Snowflake Splendor ribbon into a bow and add to the side of the sentiment.
Cut a piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer paper that will sit behind the die-cut, and attach it with dimensionals.
Add the topper to the card blank.
Add the sentiment with dimensionals and adhere gems to the tips of the snowflake.
Product List
Die-cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die.
Using the Detailed Trio Punch, punch a ribbon hole at the top.
Stamp the greeting and owls in Memento Ink.
Colour the owls in using Stampin’ Blends, Watercolour Pencils and Chalk Marker, or with any colouring medium that you have.
Ink the edges with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink.
Add a small piece of crumb cake cardstock to the back to cover any ink that has bled through and stamp ‘To and From’ on it.
Add ribbon, gems and any other glorious decoration that you love!
This week, join me as we craft together and make a colourful Christmas Card. This uses glossy cardstock (or photo card) to create the colourful front. This is the sample, however, I will be tweaking a few things as I am not sure about one or two elements!

Create an A6 card blank
from Whisper White card and a second layer (5 ¾” x 4”).
Create a card topper from glossy/photo card 5 5/8”x3 7/8”.
Add Adhesive Sheet to the back of some Whisper White card stock and die cut out about 7-10 snowflakes, depending on their size.
Stamp the greeting from the Peace and Joy stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and die-cut out, as well as the layer (you could cut the word from the layer so that the word insets into the layer, or leave it to glue on top of the layer.
Stamp a greeting into the centre of the card.
Using the three inks, sponge onto the glossy/photo card to create a rainbow effect.
Add the greeting on, and then add the snowflakes around it. Let them go off the edges and once adhered down snip off any bits that go off the page.
Add the topper to the Whisper White layer with dimensionals and add to the card front.
Hello,
Its that time of the week again when I produce a card for us all to craft along with on a video call. This week I will be trialling Google Meet, as I have not had much luck with TEAMS or Facebook Rooms. I am starting to run out of patience and options! Eventually, I will get to a solution that works for everyone! Click here to join the meeting.
Here is this weeks project:
Create
an A6 card blank from Whisper White cardstock.
Cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to 4 x 5 ¾”.
Take a piece of Classic Christmas DSP and cut it to 3 7/8” and 5 5/8”. Die-cut it twice using the Curvy Dies. This is to get the decorative detail on the top and bottom sections.
Line them up on your Cherry Cobbler cardstock and decide if you need to trim any DSP off the ends, you want to create a 1 ½” – 2” gap in the middle of the card.
Glue the pieces to the Cherry Cobbler cardstock as a mat and layer and carefully trim around the curved edges.
Lay or glue the pieces on to the card blank and stamp the curved tree stamp, greeting and snowflakes in various colours. I found it easier to have the curved DSP sections adhered to the card blank first.
Add a greeting inside.

Here are the full instructions for this weeks project and I look forward to crafting with you on Thursday.
Insert Star card
Method
Cut an A6 card blank from Coastal Cabana cardstock. Cut a second A6 card blank from Coastal Cabana cardstock and score at 2 1/16”, 4 1/8” and then flip it 180 and score again at 2 1/16”. Fold the middle score as a mountain fold and the other two scores as valley scores.
Cut two pieces of Snowflake Splendor DSP to 1 15/16”x 5 ¾” and one piece at 4 x 5 ¾”.
Cut two pieces of the Balmy Blue Gimmer Paper to 1 15/16 x 5 ¾”.
Take the piece of Coastal Cabana scored three times and line up the largest piece of DSP to the central section and tape down. Run through a die machine with the second-largest star die that you are using.
Remove the DSP and line up the largest star die around the star already cut and die cut.
Add the DSP to the Coastal Cabana cardstock scored three times.
Add a star embellishment to hang in the middle of the die-cut star shape.
Add the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper to the inside of the A6 card blank, abutting up to the central score line.
Cut a piece of DSP to 3 7/8” x 5 5/8”. Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock to 4 x 5 ¾”. Layer the DSP onto the cardstock and add to the front of the card.
Add adhesive sheets to both sides of a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and run through with three of the snowflake dies. Run through two to three times to ensure the backing paper to the adhesive sheet cuts.
If you can, remove the snowflakes from the card, otherwise just take the layer of adhesive backing sheet which is on the ‘right’ side of the die-cut and sprinkle with glitter. If you remove both sides of the backing sheet you will get glitter on both sides and this will make the snowflake difficult to adhere to the card.
Stamp the greeting in Coastal Cabana ink on Whisper White cardstock and die cut out with one of the layering ovals, as well as scalloped mat from Coastal Cabana cardstock.
Add a strip of ribbon to the card front and add the greeting on top with dimensionals.
Add the snowflakes to the card front.
Add glue to the two outer panels of the Coastal Cabana/DSP insert and adhere to the inside of the card. Ensure the outer edges of the panel’s line up with the edges of the card blank. Fold closed.
Product ListMethod
Create an A6 tent fold card blank from Basic Black Cardstock. Score at 5 7/8” and 2 15/16”. Fold one as a valley fold and one as a mountain fold. Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 4”x 2 ¾”
Cut Highland heather Cardstock as follows:
1 x 4” x 5 ¾”
2 x 4” x 2 13/16”
Cut a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock to 3 7/8” x 2 5/8”
Cut pieces of the Snowflake Splendour DSP to:
1 x 3 7/8” x 5 5/8”
2 x 3 7/8” x 2 11/16”.
Layer up the DSP to the corresponding Highland Heather Mats and add to the card blank. The largest piece goes on the inside bottom of the card and the two smaller pieces go on the top inside, either side of the scoreline.
Die-cut the Joy letter – the smallest part on Basic Black (add an adhesive sheet to the back to make it easier to add to the next layer). The medium layer in Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper and the largest layer in Highland Heather cardstock. Layer up.
Stamp the greeting in Memento Black ink on Balmy Blue Cardstock in basic black and die cut out with the smallest Stitched rectangle, create two more layers in Highland Heather and Basic Black. Layer up with black dimensionals between the layers.
Stamp the greeting in Memento Black Ink on the piece of Balmy Blue cardstock already cut to size at the top left-hand corner, lay the layered Joy on the cardstock and work out where the star stamps will go and stamp them in Memento Black ink. Layer onto the Basic Black Cardstock piece.
Add the Joy in black dimensionals.
Add the layered sentiment to the bottom half of the card about a quarter of the way up from the bottom to create the stopper.
Add glue to the top quarter of the Basic Black topper and line up behind the layered stopper and glue to the top half of the card, above the scoreline. The bottom of card topper should line up to the centre score line of the card blank.
Decorate with Blue gems.
